How to Use the FoodieGenie™ Mason Jar Sealer

Place the Lid: Position the mason jar lid on top of the jar. (Note: Not suitable for one-piece lids with rings.)

Seal the Jar: Press the FoodieGenie sealer down firmly, ensuring a smooth hold.

Double the Effect: Remove the top mason jar sealer and add a ring lid for enhanced sealing. (Ring lid not included in the package.)

2 in 1 - For Both Regular Mouth/ Wide Mouth Seal:

• Insert the red arrow on the regular mouth seal converter.
• Align it with the unlock symbol on the main unit.
• Insert it into the silicone ring in the wide mouth seal area and tighten it clockwise.
• Ensure the arrow is aligned with the lock symbol, indicating successful installation.

Important Notices

1. Filling the Jar: When filling with soft or liquid food, avoid overfilling. Less air in the bottle ensures longer sealing effectiveness.
2. Clean and Dry: Ensure the mouth of the mason jar is dry and clean. Water or debris at the mouth can prevent proper sealing.
3. Proper Placement: Make sure the mason jar vacuum sealer is pressed into place correctly to fully seal the jar.
4. Matching Lids: Ensure that the mason jars and lids are compatible.
5. Silicone Ring Adjustment: Frequent use may cause the silicone ring inside the vacuum sealer to dislocate. Manually adjust it to the original position before use.

Vacuum Sealing:

• Center the electric vacuum sealer and press it firmly against the lid.
• Click the button to start the vacuum pump. Wait about 40 seconds or more for the air to evacuate and the seal to form.
• Click the button again to stop the sealer.
